Vehicle Biography

This is my fun car. It is a one of a kind custom. The car is actually a recreation of the first Cobra that Carroll Shelby made, which I was told used the MG MGA (others tell me the AC, but I can dream can't I?). The car has a 1966 Ford 289 V8 crammed into the engine bay. It also has a Ford C4 slapstick automatic pushing it to a top speed of 110mph. It may not be high, but it gets there quickly.

It wasn't near perfect when I got it, but it did seem that way. The drive home I at least stopped 20 times. The gas tank was completely rusted as was the radiator. For whatever reason, there was the remanence of an octane booster can in the gas tank. The tires weren't that great either. All of these problems have been fixed since, but now the motor went. I am currently in the process of making a 289 from hell which is getting close to being finished.
